Hi David,
What is the link - as you must just have a flag set incorrectly.

I've solved it!

This is a really cheap and dirty hack, but it works.

If you go to http://www.girlguidingbeaconsfield.org.uk/?p=25 and click 'Read more at Bucks Free Press', you can see it in action.

Download the plugin 'wp-noexternallinks' and edit' wp-noexternallinks/wp-noexternallinks-parser.php'.
Replace line 9 with:

   $sep=''.$wp_noexternallinks_parser->LINK_SEP.'=';

and line 72 with:

    $this->LINK_SEP='/external_link.php?go2';

Then create a file called 'external_link.php' at your wordpress root. Add the HTML to the file, warning users that they are leaving your site, and then add a link as follows:

<a href="">Take me to the page.</a>

If this fails, let me know.

Also let me know if you find/think of a cleaner way to do this. It is amongst the most shameful hacks I have ever attempted.

Wow. I have used SEO pack before on my websites but I am new to blogging and I didn't know what to put in the title tag for posts. This is really useful to know and I have just changed the title tag on my blog without affecting my main post title. Thank You.

thanks for your prompt answer, just to confirm that i've understood, i need to get inside every post i already have in my blog and fill the three following fields

1) Title
2) Description
3) Keywords

This fields will be automatically filled on future posts after the AIOSP or i will always have to fill them along with each post?

PD: is your video uploaded anywhere else or in a different format? im having trouble watching it

Thanks again!!

Hey Alan,

Yes, once you install the plugin, you can go to any or all of you existing posts and change the title, description and meta settings.

I have used numerous re-writers, and this is hands down the easiest one of all. I use it for web 2.0 bookmarking. Write a short post, rewrite it, generate 20 variations and buzz through my 2,0 bokkmarking site list, posting with new unique content.

If you know about spinning, you might want to check out The Link Juicer for automatic, constant velocity bookmarking. The best service of its kind.
