somecoolguy on "Java API Page.setExcerpt() not working?"

I have been fooling around with the Java WordPress Api http://code.google.com/p/wordpress-java/ (This one) and I can’t get the setExcerpt method of the Page class to work. All the other methods I’ve tried work, I can make the post, I can set the categories, publish the post, etc., but no matter what I try I can’t get it to set the excerpt. I’ve tried changing my wordpress theme and stuff, but the excerpt does not get set.
Does anyone know how to make the setExcerpt method work?
