mclark on "Can’t login now – Redirect error"

I’d already deleted all the plugins, and still got the same error.

I’m using Headway theme. When I renamed it and tried to login, it now tells the database needs to be updated.

Is this okay and will I lose anything? Can I do this “update” and then switch back to my active theme?
