jfelton on "[Plugin: WPMU Theme Select] "Steeling" Open source"

March 5, 2010 by David Olsen

You can’t steal open source. Open source means the software is “open.” Anyone can modify and use as needed. If you don’t want it used on commercial projects, then you will have to release it under a different license. However, the plugin released at wordpress.org will remain open source.
