zguy on "Blog not showing – errors in theme page"

February 9, 2010 by David Olsen

blog address:

Running:
- OS: Windows Standard Server 2003
- Web: Apache 2.2.4
- PHP: 5.2.3.3
- MySQL: 5.0

Note: I have other applications running fine with PHP and MySql.

Originally installed WP 2.7. Have the problem since the beginning. Now running 2.9.1. The blog has been developped on the WordPress site and imported here.

Problem: when connecting to the blog address you get a blank page with no errors. Nothing shows.

Things confirmed working:
- MySQL WordPress db is sound
- Import from WordPress.com works fine
- Everything is where it should be in the admin pages.
- The WordPress directory structure looks fine from what I can gather

There is no plugins or customs themes in WordPress.

The only place I have errors is in the admin theme page. Here is a screen shot: . Obviously, there is a problem here. No default theme is showing. I did try to upload some new themes but that did not work.

This is a screen shot of the directory structure: , Default themes are there.

I have reinstalled the whole thing twice so far. Same results. I do admit being a newbie with WordPress. But I’m not one with computers, Apache, etc. I went through these forums and others elsewhere for hours searching for a solution to no avail so far.

Hopefully, someone here can help. Thanks in advance.
