I just got the email about the release of the plugin today and am glad you reviewed this so I can make a puying decision!
Good review, nice to see the pros and cons. I’d be interested to see your long term results with the sitemap. I am not yet found anything that can adequately explain the whys and wherefores of Google’s placement of videos (why page 1 and not 5, why item 7 on a page and not 3). I have had a couple of videos go to page 1 and then fall off over a couple of weeks time.

hey I got this plugin…but it is not working for our site.
The support has not even responded within last 18 hours …
we are streaming videos from S3 using wowza server running on EC2…
this plugin cannot detect the way we have embedded our videos…
(mp4 videos)…..our videos are embedded similar to that of youtube…
..we even tried beta version of this plugin that comes with youtube videos embed support….
however my $97 are wasted ..as I have to wait on them …please do not make a mistake like me .. make sure it is going to work for your site
Are you using one of the video player plugins that is specified in the documentation? If not, that’s your problem.
You should log out of your google account before you perform searches because Google will bias the search results based on the user who is logged in.

That code goes in your post, where you want the video to appear. Make sure you’re in html mode and that you have the flash video player activated.

1. The plugin looks very interesting, does the price cover a licence to use it on multiple domains?
2. this is a yearly fee. Is this simply for updates? if we cancelled in say 9 months time does the plugin de-activate all the videos we have already set up.

You should check with the plugin author for the final word on both of these questions…
That said, I’m using the plugin on multiple sites without a problem. I’m pretty sure the yearly fee is just for updates – but again, you should double check with the developer.
