srb on "Understanding Theme Structure"

Hi. i’m trying to get my wordpress page to look a certain way..
i’m using the Equilibrium Theme.

The look i’m looking for is like this page: www dreamfield se.
my page is: nordichabitat com.

The style.css is edited and the layout seems to be the same.
The thing is that i dont understand how to build the pages within wordpress. how to set them up. When i add a new post, it automaticly add to “About” page. i dont understand how i can add a post to lets say “Work” page. The whole thing is very confusing.

I hope someone could shed any light on this matter. and maybe guide me in the right direction so i could do this myself.
